HOW TO MEASURE YOUR KITCHEN & COUNTERTOPS |
In order for us to give you an estimate on the cost of changing your
kitchen cabinets and countertops, you will need to provide measurements
of your present layout
Measuring is not difficult. You
will need a tape measure, a
pencil, and a piece of paper (One hint: Always measure twice to
ensure that correct measurements are recorded). The measurements will
help us to give you an estimated price for your cabinets & countertops.
Basic parts of a kitchen
Make a sketch of the floor plan of your kitchen. This does not have to
be accurate. This is mainly to get the shape of your kitchen. Use your
tape measure, measure the length (A&B) back wall and the width (C) of
your countertops. Write down the measurements in inches. Each individual
kitchen will be different. Don’t forget to measure islands and bars.
